Honey, no one could have ever taught me about this

The waiting is the hardest part
Every day you see one more card
You take it on faith
You take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part

(promise.)

A study was done on 4 year olds. A marshmallow was placed infront of them and they were told they could eat it now or what 15 minutes and have two. Only 30% waited. Those kids were followed through life and found to be more successful, have better grades, ect. Good things come to those who wait.

You know what I'm hatin' on today, right? I can't really write about it on my Monday Maladies, but I just LOVE female competition and silliness. And by love, I mean HATE.

Kenna I am right there with ya!!! Waiting is the worst!!!!
I am so terrible at it too. I think the Lord keeps giving me things to wait for just so I get the hint that I need to develop some form of patience. I still do not have one ounce of it.

Anyways today I am hatin on all the dang pollen that is everywhere in the south this time of year. Everything is yellow including my car that I just washed yesterday. Its insane. Well... can I just hate on the South in general? people here are nuts!!!

What I got one! I know its late and early but I need to vent somewhere where no-one involved will see.

Lets just say that a friend of a friend was really beasty to my Bestie and myself for a whole week. We were concerned about her asked her multiple times what was wrong, if she was alright...etc etc. Everytime she said she was fine. But she kept giving dirtie and beastie looks and wouldn't talk to us but she would be nice to everyone else. Finally the bestie confronted the beastie and found out that she was upset at the closeness of the relationship bestie and I have.

Pretty sure little Beastie, that its taken almost 20 years to have the relationship that Bestie and I have. We have had LOT of ups and downs. Times where we weren't friends and times when we spent every waking minute together. It doesn't happen overnight. You say you feel alone, well you are going to be alone, you want to have a great relationship and establish life long bonds you don't alienate your friends and treat them like crap just because you "feel" alone. To be honest, are not we all "alone" on this sojourn on this little planet we call earth. There are others all around us all the time, but we are still "alone" us living our life.

I want to confront this Beastie cause I just dispise when people think they can treat me or my loved ones like this and then not have to apologize. Really..really!
But I can't and won't cause the Bestie doesn't want it to be awkward between the three of us. We are the only friends this girl has. I told my Bestie if it happens again, this girl is gonna get a mouthful!

I am done, I've vented and no longer have beef. This is my Friday Maladies

Can I start Friday Festivities? I like reading everyone's happy thoughts - they are the perfect start to a weekend!

Mine is that I can go home and play with a little puppy! Can't wait to see her cute face.
